Type HCQ Hard Covers

Red with black box, white fleur-de-lis, no badge

1965 - 1966 · Contains pamphlet Types 6 and 7

Hard Cover Type HCQ covers are red with a black box at the top of the front cover. Unlike HCP, the black box shows only the title in white, with no picture of the merit badge. The fleur-de-lis is in white in the middle of the front cover, and the flat spine shows just the title in white capital letters. HCQ covers are found with both Type 6 and Type 7 pamphlets.
